The 4th edition of the African Sustainability Summit was held at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) on the 29th of July 2017. As part of the summit, an entrepreneur pitching competition was featured with entrants coming from all over Africa. According to the pitch organisers, 50 entrepreneurs where shortlisted and from this 50, 10 finalists were selected for the final pitches at the JSE.
Of the 10 finalists, 2 where from the BizCre8 programme. Sandile Nkosi of Protovate and Bronwyn Jones of Bokashi Bran. To have two BizCre8 entrepreneurs in the top 10 of African Sustainability Entrepreneurs is a great achievement in itself, but Bronwyn went on to come 2nd in the event overall. A big congratulations to Sandile and Bronwyn.
